I was at this small town in Obernai, France today. I found out even the small towns have Bastille Day or *le 14 juillet* parades. With local constabulary and even the old fire trucks rolling out! Lovely.

Basel has this special train that goes to stadium every 20 mins. SBB is just nailing it making Euros really easy to access. I chuckle at the absolute mess of DB stories from men's Euros. #WEURO2025

Starting to Switzerland and the Euros from Strasbourg. Here the weather is scorching hot. The station looks stunning though. There is a direct pedestrian path outside which leads to beautiful centre. As European as it gets.

Alsace has the be the best France you can get. Get the German countryside anesthetic to architecture and people. But French quality of goods you can buy. Vegetables, fruits, milk products and wine. Especially wine.

Not everybody will agree with my personal opinion that the US will move further on protecting small companies from Big Tech abuses with Gail Slater (Trump nominee) at the US DOJ compared to the status quo, but it is a personal opinion, and not a political statement. I also support Lina Khan (Biden nominee), which is also not a political statement.

Proton is politically neutral, but obviously strong proponents of online privacy and freedom. From our history, it should be clear we call out abuses from both sides of the political spectrum.

Lot of talk about DEI hiring in US. In India, where it is legally mandated to hire ~25-50% from marginalized communities, the top universities blatantly circumvent them.
