We had to read Old Yeller in school. Then watched Marley & Me. Along came John Wick. We all collectively decided John Wick had the proper reaction to the dog dying. And we didn’t want to see more dogs die. A societal shift respectful of millennia of attachment & not wanting to ugly cry in theatres 🐶

My favorite ever bestest boy turned 15 today 🥳 He's an Aussie cattle dog mutt according to the DNA test. And I know we're on borrowed time so... Dude got doggie meatballs & salmon for dinner. I remember OPTING to take typing in HS. Was warned it would bring my GPA down bc it wasn't an honors class. That was terrible advice. It's a necessary skill! That I only appreciated at the time bc my mom had worked as an executive secretary.
