With a broken heart mended together with a sewing needle made from a battery and a string pulled from the elastic waistband from a jumper, reinforced with blank mail labels and a rubber band. With my head up high, teary eyes, and this broken heart full of love. I want to thank everyone for all of their support, love, and prayers as my family and I survive through this horrible injustice.

Today, July 6, marks a year since I was unjustly abducted and wrongfully imprisoned. I sit in a concrete cell with a heavy steel door as an innocent person for a crime I did not commit

The reality is that I was arrested for being married to my wife, Mari, who has been unjustly convicted to 70 years for attending a public noise demonstration to support immigrants at the Prairieland detention center.

Political Prisoners are behind the bars this holiday season

While you gather with your family and loved ones this holiday season, consider that the United States holds political prisoners and people facing political charges all throughout the country on the state and federal level. One of the main things we do to support these political prisoners is run the ABCF Warchest fund.

The Anarchist Black Cross Federation (ABCF) initiated the Warchest program in November 1994 to send monthly donations to Political Prisoners and Prisoners of War who have been receiving insufficient, little, or no financial support during their imprisonment. Its purpose is to collect funds from groups and individual supporters and send that money directly to commissary accounts of vetted Political Prisoners and Prisoners of War (PP/POW) monthly. From inception to end of November 2025, we have raised almost $275,000.

Today we honor a warrior the state tried to silence but could never break. Imam Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin— once H. Rap Brown of SNCC and the Black Liberation Movement — walked through this world with fire in his chest and truth on his tongue.

Stolen from his community, caged for decades, and denied the medical care that could’ve saved him — yet he never surrendered his faith, his discipline, or his commitment to the people. Even behind bars, he remained a symbol of resistance.

Imam Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin died on November 23, 2025, not a “prisoner,” but a political captive of a system threatened by Black liberation, self-determination, and uncompromising truth.

May his spirit live in every struggle against oppression.

Crackdown in Indonesia, anarchists appeal for solidarity

Anarchists in Indonesia are calling for
international support for comrades
imprisoned and tortured following the
August uprisings. In the wake of mass
protests against corruption and
inequality, around 900 people are being detained and named as suspects, many of them anarchists or sympathisers, spread across various cities.

The latest solidarity call named over
40 anarchists arrested in West Java,
accused of being part of the so-called
"Chaos Star” network, which the
government describes as a "foreign-
backed anarchist group”. According to
an activist source, the arrests were
triggered by social media posts showing actions such as Molotov cocktail attacks.

The detainees face charges ranging from property destruction to online
incitement. While many are still
awaiting trial, some of the accused
face up to 20 years in prison. The
imprisoned comrades have been isolated, and their access to legal
representation has been severely
restricted. Many are young, and their
families report widespread torture and abuse, with some forced to give false confessions.

Among those accused of "leading" the network and the recent anarchist
uprisings are Bima Satria Putra, an
anarchist jailed since 2021 on cannabis charges. Recently transferred to solitary confinement at Lapas Merah Mata, his family and lawyers have been blocked from seeing him. Another is Reyhard Rumbayan, known as Eat, who was
arrested in Makassar on 23 September 2025 and is currently held in solitary confinement and denied contact with others.

The unrest began in August 2025, when widespread anger against former military leader Prabowo Subianto's regime sparked protests that quickly turned violent, and later spread to Nepal and the Philippines as well as Morocco, Madagascar and Peru. The Indonesian government has since responded with mass arrests, media manipulation, and brutal policing.

The crackdown is seen as part of a
broader government effort to suppress anarchist movements, echoing past anti-communist purges. International solidarity is crucial, as anarchists call on supporters to send letters and postcards to the imprisoned comrades.

Civil Liberties Defense Center has filed a major new challenge to ICE's authority. On September 3, 2025 our client received a notification from Meta that they had been served by ICE with a subpoena seeking extensive personal information related to ourclient's Facebook and Instagram accounts.ICE, an immigration enforcement agency,does not have the authority to conduct independent criminal investigations, andespecially not of a US citizen suspected ofnon-immigration related crimes. Our clientruns Stopice.net, a website that tracks andmonitors ICE activity and is one of six people named in the subpoena

Today we honor the life and legacy of Assata Shakur — revolutionary, writer, and freedom fighter.

After surviving state violence, wrongful conviction, and years of imprisonment, Assata escaped the Clinton Correctional Facility for Women in New Jersey on November 2nd, 1979. She was freed by members of the Black Liberation Army, who posed as visitors, took two guards hostage, and commandeered a prison van. After a period in hiding, Shakur resurfaced in Cuba in 1984 where they embraced her and was granted political asylum and refuge. For over 45 years, despite being placed on the FBI’s “Most Wanted” list they were were never able to capture her. She remains a symbol of freedom, resistance, and defiance against an empire built on prisons and police. She is a testament to liberation and courage against an empire that tried to break her. Assata lives on in every struggle for Black liberation, every fight against prisons and police, every act of solidarity with oppressed peoples worldwide. She will remain in our hearts forever. ABC SoFLo completed their 1st annual RDTWs 2025 event! We raised over $750. We had comrades drive down from Texas, we also had comrades in Arkansas & North FLo complete their runs simultaneously with ours! In Solidarity with ALL Political Prisoners and Prisoners of War! Until Every Cage is Empty!

Our first Running Down the Walls event was rained out, but that DID NOT STOP US! We spent the day at the park, flags flying high, and sharing zines and food with curious neighbors. These crucial steps build community, helping us spread the word about abolitionist prisoner support and challenge others to question the inhumane prison industrial complex. Friends @cienfuegos.coop provided zines and coffee for the day!

This year we raised a total of $750 for the Anarchist Black Cross War Chest, which distributes funds to political prisoners every month! Next year our goal is to raise over $1000 for those fighting inside.

While nature may have had other plans, some of our members and attendees didn’t let that stop them; they completed the 5k under torrents of rainfall, honoring the commitment they made to those inside who were participating on this same day. Members of our chapter who have moved out of South Florida also participated in their new regions, running down the walls from afar! Salutations and felicitations to all of my Running Down the Walls
Comrades!
Yet again we have travelled another circuit of the seasons and come
to the time and place for another operation of what has become an
institution outside of the barricade: the Running Down the Walls
run/walk/roll in support of fewer walls and cages and greater freedom
and community. The need for our side of the barricade to come
together to do as much as possible is becoming ever more acute.
The forces pillage and plunder are raising an increasingly dark social
storm cloud that segregates the human family into inherently
different and necessarily competitive groups surrounded by both
physical and cultural walls over which only enmity and conquest fly.
The image is hard to avoid. But that just makes it easier to resist!
And so we will when we lace up our
shoes, pull on our gloves, and RUN
DOWN THE WALLS, conscious of our
brethren, sistren, the men all moving
in the same direction with a rhythm
that will push back the storm, erode
the barriers between people, and
move the movement a little farther

Greetings from behind the layered walls of imprisonment, where we are
captives in rebellion seeking collective liberation. We are each braving the
forces of fascism, and although we may not know all that confines you,
we hear and meet your calls for freedom. May we all draw strength today from the future we are building, the necessity of the times we are in, andfrom the memories of our fallen.
Our comrades in Athens once declared boldly, "The passion for freedom
is stronger than their cells", and we wholeheartedly profess the same.
Between the rage and sorrow of our forced separation and more
importantly the separation of vecinos all around you, we know

protests are no longer enough. We need revolutionary commitment - a

Running Down The Walls. As the fascist grip tightens on
the entire planet, we need to remind those already
incarcerated and everyone who may join them that we

As a former political prisoner and recipient of mutual aid I

"Maine"). When Running Down the Walls first kicked off in
September, 1999 I was fifteen years into 20 years of
imprisonment and stuck in a segregation cell. I was
isolated and lonely but I never felt alone because every

serving 80 years in prison for a series of bank
expropriations throughout the southwest in 1998-
1999. In 2016, 25 years were taken off his
sentence when he won his Johnson v. U.S.
appeal. He is part of the wolf clan
Cherokee/Choctaw, raised in New Mexico. His
indigenous name is Oso Blanco or Yona Unega in
Cherokee. He was known to the FBI as 'Robin the
Hood' because he informed the bank tellers he
was expropriating funds to assist the poor and
indigenous people fighting for independence in
the southern Mexican state of Chiapas.

tortured into a false confession, then
wrongly imprisoned. He was 21 at the time
of his arrest in 1972. Now in his 60s, he has
several chronic health issues that are

treatment-resistant cancer. He has support
within the Virgin Islands and mainland U.S.
should he be granted clemency like his former co defendant was in 1994.

Anarchism in Indonesia is so interesting because the tired debates of social/lifestylism, especifismo, nihilism, insurrectionary, individualist etc. don't matter. They take what they need and build a functional synthesis. Yeah they're insurrectos, but also especifistas. It works.
