A few pics from my day, and celebration of mt brother's 60th birthday! 🎂

Homemade birthday cake frosted like Buck Owen's, Red, White, snd Blue guitar, with "60 Rocks" in gold glitter numbers and letters done in black. I love my current posse enough to allow them to encroach in my personal space. Way more than is comfortable. And, even when trying to have a phone conversation. But my 4 lb Shih-Tzu, Eldie, and my PomChi, Moppet, hung the moon. The holes in my heart are huge.

I took my near-60 yrs old. Dev. Disabled brother in for surgery on Wednesday. He's been the world's biggest #KISS fan since KISS has existed. I bought him this Rock'n Care Bear as a surgery buddy. It was of obvious comfort to him, and I believe only left his hands during surgery. Buddy's matter. ❤️‍🩹💯

Green Care Bear with a round black circle on its belly, containing a green shamrock with four pointed star and black musical note layered on top of each other. Also a multiple point, darker shade of green, star over its Left eye, and dark heart shape on the bottom of each foot. And, a small rainbow colored tuft of hair sprouted on top of it's head.

My Bruno. 🎉❤️❤️❤️❤️🎊 Soon will be my 8 yr anniversary of hearing the words "cancer free" from my surgeon. I struggled to process what those words really meant. He said, "go live your life like everyone else does." So, I got a beautiful Lab/St. Bernard. And, I even took him to my radiation treatments.

I desperately was trying to give my girl a last bit of sustenance (pedialyte & chicken broth) to hang on for me, as I had to leave for a few hours & I didn't want her to die alone. She wasn't in pain, just 16 yrs old & fading. She quickly passed in my arms. I literally had 30 mins to grieve. Momlife

At 2:15 pm, October 22, 2025, my 16 yr old Pomchi, Moppet, took her last breath. My Moppenator was a wounded warrior and cancer survivor. She was my "Pistol," and our "Grand Duchess of Licks-a-Lot." She died in my arms, then I had to take my sons to Spec. Olympics bowling and Disney On Ice. :(

@mountrainier.bsky.social I've never in my life seen Mt. Rainer with so little snowpack. It's only July 11. I took this picture with my Samsung Note20 Ultra from the BestBuy parking lot in Federal Way, Washington.

A photo of Mt. Rainier showing the melted snowpack. It's only nearing the middle of summer and much of the snow has melted leaving the rocky browns, grays, and purple hues of rock exposed. A small amount of snow left as her cap, and a small apron of snow still left on her "bodice."
