US House Reps have been on recess (ope, they started early bc Epstein files! Dismissed early, so talk about fleeing…ahem) from 07/25–09/01. This time is for Reps to engage with constituents. It’s also the perfect time to hold town halls & hear their constituents' concerns. #50daysofshame #tx31

This is exactly how I'm thinking about the probably not entirely fair elections that probably will happen in 2026. And it goes lower than that. Your school board can make education in your community less or more fascist. Your parks board oversees some of the public resources that will still exist.
