I spend a lot of time on flights and in airports. Today is by far the worst behavior I’ve ever seen from people in the air. Speaker phone on flights, shoving passengers to get off, berating gate attendants. If you can’t control your temper you probably shouldn’t be traveling!

Jared Young is doing "as well as can be expected," according to Andy Green. He was discharged overnight from the hospital, but is still experiencing concussion symptoms, and the Mets sent him for more testing today. Ronny Mauricio has been called up to take his spot. Young is done for the year.

Carson Benge has a bone bruise on his left wrist and expects to be back in the lineup within a few days. Andy Green said he’s already going stir-crazy being out of the lineup and being told to rest the wrist. The Mets think he'll be able to avoid the IL.

Tyrone Taylor said he hasn't really thought about the trade deadline, but hearing about it now, he's thinking about his family. This was the first year he had his girlfriend, kids, and two dogs with him during the season. They've been renting Jeff McNeil's house on Long Island.

Per the Mets, Juan Soto has a Grade 2 calf strain, he’ll be out for “a period of time.” Longer than when he strained his right calf, which was about three weeks. The Mets are not specifying a timeline yet. Jorge Polanco will get more DH at-bats with Soto down.
