I haven’t been able to reconcile “Trump support” with “good people”. Whether willful ignorance or malevolence (likely the latter with my family), the outcome is the same. Good luck to those who choose reconciliation but there will be no open door for my remaining family. Cut contact in 2016.

Excellent piece. It certainly resonates with me. I was an “alarmist” (on a micro social media scale) back in 2015 and was laughed at for warning of the “Hungary blueprint” MAGA was going to implement. Of course, “Russia blueprint” would have been more accurate.

I think the event will be the pardoning of Derek Chauvin. This will likely result in mass protests, then the various right wing militias will initiate violence and the military will be called in, leading to “postponement” of elections.
