My muse for haunt and scare acting: Mad Pierrot from Cowboy Bebop. The stare, the smile, the rotund, agile body, and of course....that laugh. He is everything I wanted to bring to a haunt character: a terrifying figure you could see from 50 feet away and already be ready to flee.

The crazy thing is the past 4 years of experience came just from going to the fair, visiting friends working the maze, and being recruited due to my experience. So I have the honor of saying that I literally walked into a haunted house and walked out with a job application.

2022, easily the busiest season I've ever worked (and poetically my 13th haunt season) Working the L.A. County Fair for its 100th anniversary in its haunted maze, doing a Purge maze on 4th of July weekend, my biggest stage at Knotts Scary Farm, and ending with a circus haunt.

For the many photos of Butcher Bob as there have been over the years, this holds a special place to me. Not just for such a terrifying scene, but for it to be voted as "Scariest Costume" by both haunt and non-haunt peers....it holds a special place in my black heart.
