I recently decided to have my teeth pulled, except for the two bottom canines. I received temporary dentures immediately, and they work pretty well, not bad for temporary dentures. Permanent ones in about three months. Best dentistry experience ever anywhere in the world. Long live Quebec!

You know what I really hate? Lazy storytelling. In most TV shows and movies today, they use characters exchanging text messages, which are often too tiny on the screen to make out, or are left on the screen only for a brief moment, too brief to actually read the text message.

Crazy weather in Quebec City today. Huge storm, then it got darker outside than even at night time, and eventually the atmosphere turned “Martian”. By late afternoon, the sky was blue again, not Martian, and the sun was out again.

Best joke I’ve seen in some time: Translation/MTPE of around 150,000 words within 10 business days. For $14 US an hour! Translator is expected to do 2500 words an hour. Must provide detailed references. Me: report spam & block sender I don’t lift a finger unless I see at least €50 an hour!

This doesn’t surprise me at all. It’s not really a huge loss, given that most people today have very little of substance to say. And the younger generations, in particular, either speak in incomplete sentences, mispronouncing and/or using incorrectly even simple words, or simply grunt at each other.
