I’m afraid to the google slop machine is probably conflating freepost name with freepost licences. Freepost name is a different service (and allows hand sorting - the name IS the address) licensed freepost MUST be machine sortable and use a pre-printed envelope that has been approved by RM. Sorry.

Evidence from the Royal Mail Freepost licence user guide. Unless you are using a pre-printed envelope from Reform it is not valid, and doesn’t get charged to Reform.

Handwritten licences are NOT permissible for Freepost Standard Letters or Large Letters from 30th March 2015.

25 years ago today I was ill and bed-bound whilst travelling in Vietnam. In the hotel in Hue, the only English language TV station available was CNN. I was watching the news as the very first report came in and then watched in shock for the next terrible hours as the world changed.

A calendar entry for 11th September. Between 2pm and 3pm is a placeholder that says Hue, Vietnam.

Perhaps not such a well executed “pull through” here by Ionity at Cobham (at an otherwise great installation) - requires weaving through services car park to reach and because of layout, ‘drive-thru’ bays get used as ‘normal’ bays when there are plenty of regular bays available.

Ionity chargers at Cobham services. 2 ‘drive-thru’ bays are provided (out of 24 Ionity chargers, there are other CPOs at the services too)
The bays are ‘short’ for ‘drive-thru’ - causing overhang at rear…

…and overhang at front.

Despite the charges only being 1/3 full, the remaining ‘drive-thru’ bay is blocked by a small EV

This would seem… sub-optimal for Uber’s latest safety feature. (Audio recording during rides) You can’t even confirm what you think was said was actually said and have to trust Uber who will no doubt refuse any other evidence. The pretence of safety through a closed system.

The audio file will be automatically deleted after 14 days if you choose not to share it with the Uber Safety Support team.
