Together we will learn what AI is and how it can be harmful not just to our environment, but to human beings. This conversation will allow us to uncover the realities of AI and why us at TENT do not use it. We as an organization recognize the impact that AI has on nonprofits and those we serve, so this will provide insight that some may not be aware about. My family and I need to move somewhere for the rest of September due to mold exposure in our house. I found a hotel we can stay at with low rates that, if we stayed starting September 18th-September 30th, we'd need around $340 to stay at.

Our plan to raise these funds, if not through donations, is to ask for use of a vehicle to Uber/DD with my wife and I present (running the business/food side of things), giving a driver cut for gas, in order to raise enough money to stay at this hotel. Just until our car's registration tags come in the mail (likely sometime next week, but I don't feel comfortable using our car due to risk of being pulled over or potential legal trouble with Uber/DD that might occur, though I'm not for sure).

We unfortunately aren't able to use my second paycheck of the month because our money will need to go to putting a down payment on apartment for us to leave TX October 1st/the first week of October at the latest. Hence our inability to afford the hotel stay. I know it's unlikely anyone can provide their car, time, and energy, so anything you could donate would help us. Thank you.

With all of the problems LGBT people are facing in our current state of affairs, here are a list of phone numbers queer youth and folks can call for help. Please share and spread this around.

The Trevor Project offers around-the-clock crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ+ youth ages 13 to 24 and can be reached at (866) 488-7386.
Trans Lifeline, at (877) 565-8860, provides peer-led support by and for transgender people, offering confidential help without mandatory law enforcement involvement.
The LGBT National Hotline is available at (888) 843-4564 for peer support and information.
Text-based support is available through Crisis Text Line by texting START to 741-741.
The Rainbow Youth Project operates its national crisis line for LGBTQ+ youth and young adults, with services available through rainbowyouthproject.org. Their counselors are specifically trained to address the mental health needs of LGBTQ+ callers facing isolation, family rejection, and legislative hostility.
PFLAG National, which has more than 300 chapters nationwide, continues to provide local community-based support, education, and advocacy for LGBTQ+ people and their loved ones. More information about chapters and resources is available at pflag.org.
The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline remains reachable by dialing 988, although identity-specific services may be diminished soon.

Democrats have largely held solid on transgender rights in recent years in terms of actual votes taken. There is a hugely financed movement trying to get them to stop, trying to build pillars to allow them to throw us under the bus. Interviews like this from Sarah McBride are in service to that.
