I'd say the Dragon types are the 'matrons' of the evolution, generally keeping watch on a Daycare of Mamagardes (the group term :P) and the Mythical Mama is out there somewhere. :3 She and the Ground Mamas are the eldest, but very difficult to find!

The biggest hit show is "Teach Me, Spelling Bea"-the series that can teach any Trainer at any level! Bea and her Combee friends have instructional videos that can either help you get back into reading or help you get your Doctorate! ...The least popular videos are the potty training course. :P

This I admit I don't do as much as I should, if only because I come up with so much in my spare time that I end up writing/drawing more than I read! Personalias has come fun stuff I've perused, and I ADORE Carotte's Stripes and Straps comic! If folks have authors they want to suggest, go for it!

Oh the professor wouldn't leave her wife for a YEAR, but worst case scenario Maia would probably have a LOT of video calls with Kimmie...and would probably need to give breastmilk to passing trainers at least once a week. :P

That *does* sound cool! Immortality, infinity, it's all a lot for one mind to bear and sometimes we have to really appreciate our finite time. As for me, I tend to enjoy playful deconstruction. Taking a well-worn story or trope and turning it on its head, but in a way that appreciates the source!

Kinda! Since Mamagardes are the 'regional' unique Mon, they often have Hybrid versions. The Mamagarde in the previous pic I drew (and that landed Maia in a counselor's room) has a Beedrill hybrid Mamagarde as an example! Really, the possibilites are endless.
