Sign of the times: A former classmate of mine went from lefty pothead to right-wing conspiracy nut in around 7 years. Others were shocked. I pointed out that they always had strong opinions about communism but never actually knew what “communist” meant, even when they claimed to be one.

The other night, I went to a Nordic spa with my Montréal crew. It was a gorgeous, almost mystical night, soaking in salt pools under a vanilla sky and later the harvest moon. The only blemish? The man full on making eye contact with me while humping a water jet in the same pool.

I bought this bottle of Japanese hand (raccoon paw?) wash in Tokyo back in April and at this point it has been my companion across 10 different cities in 3 countries. I’ll be sad when it eventually runs out. (Also hi from Toronto/Boston/Montréal.) 🦝 🫧
