This was a long time coming! I released this song today under a new artist profile: Aaron Grubb: Side Quest - it’ll be a place where I release covers that are not my usual thing…like surf, synthwave, etc album art by Amber Finnegan and as always, LINK IN BIO #surfmusic #newmusicalert #legendofzelda

First, follow Jesse Ahmann for some stellar cello music. This is the first of the many tracks we will create together for upcoming Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask albums. Secondly, follow Amber Finnegan who made the excellent album art!! As always, link in bio #legendofzelda #ocarinaoftime

Get ready for an old west showdown! How do you like this wildly different version of this song? Is it brilliant or blasphemy? . . #legendofzelda #legendofzeldaocarinaoftime #legendofzeldamusic #legendofzeldaart #ocarinaoftime

Another collab with Josh O’Brien of @vhsmokemusic on a nostalgic Nintendo classic. And absolutely stellar art by Amber Finnegan

It’s likely that it’ll take me a long while to get to it 😕 I haven’t had much time for gaming

Okay, who plays this game?? I haven't tried it. I chose to cover this song because it was such a simple loop, that it left a lot of room for creative interpretation. What do you think? #animalcrossing #animalcrossingnewleaf

Another epic Christmas song for your holiday playlists. I picked this knowing the original music is Ukrainian. While arranging this, I may have infused more emotion into it because of this as I have been thinking about Ukraine a lot. Enjoy

Well, thank you for listening and reposting! I'm glad you like it. I'm often in too much of a hurry to listen to start screens

Josh of VHSmoke suggested that we collaborate on this song and I'm so glad I did. How do you think it turned out??

If you enjoyed the @parrygripp.bsky.social masterpiece Space Unicorn, then sit back and relax while listening to this calming orchestral version I made

When I was young and dumb, I didn't like diminished chords because I didn't know how they could be used...but let me tell you - in the last section of Grandma (From Wind Waker) there are 2 diminished chords and it's a very beautiful thing

I used Playlisty. It was flawless, but cost $3

Same. I really don't have room for one at the moment though

I sold all of my stuff not that long ago and I already have an amp, two guitars, and 6 pedals

Aaron Grubb Music @aarongrubb.bsky.social · 01/03/2025

It's true, then wait until you start watching YouTube videos about effects pedals and amps 😂. You're doomed

I have covered presidential politics for 40 years. This was the most juvenile display by a President and Vice President I have ever seen. Other presidents treated their enemies with more respect. This is a low point and a dark day for the US. Totally embarrassing.

I don't know much about Donner, but I bought one of the new $200 Squiers as a second guitar and it's pretty good

Welllll, at the end of this, I'll have guitar tabs for Temple/Palace theme from Zelda II in Em (the "wrong" key) I can share. Making them now
