Three things that consoles have going for them: 1. Exclusives (most of which are now on PC) 2. Cheaper than a PC 3. Physical Media The next gen looks to be doing away with 2 and 3 So, what exactly separates the next gen, from a PC? It’s way more closed off, with a handful of exclusives.

I have owned a PS5 digital since 2021 I no longer buy any games from the digital store, given they’re usually more expensive than physical. Soon, this will be the reality for everyone. The PS5 digital is one of my biggest cases of buyers remorse.

One thing should now be very clear: Ubisoft is not the biggest player pulling the strings of lobbies like ESA and VGE. Sony now has a prime interest from 2028 going forward that customers don't have the slightest say. SKG needs to succeed or we can kiss this hobby goodbye.
