"I do not pretend to be wise in the ways of magic, dear reader, I am merely a traveler, but take from me that the Sentinel Stones feel... special, some how. As I sat and sketched, I found myself wondering to their purpose. Perhaps I will never know."
an illustration of some standing stones, each with a hole carved into their top section from which pours a strange blue light. Each stone appears to also be home to a different kind of growth. Moss, vines, rootless shrubs, and mushrooms

"Not terribly far out from the port of Slan, loom Storms Teeth. Many a wreck can be seen dashed upon the rocks there, drawn in by the crashing and roiling of waves. This land may be dangerous at times, but not half as dangerous as its seas."
An illustration of many large jagged rocks breaching the surface of a rough stormy sea.

"What may be said about the port city of Slan? For one, it occupies a great portion of a bay which makes it suited for ship trade. Such trade of course also brings travelers, and travelers bring money, and money begs for ale and beds. Among the streets, you will certainly find many taverns."
An illustration of a street near the docks of a port town. A tavern sits on the rights hand side of the street, and some official building sits opposite it on the left. In the background the docks themselves (or some of them) can be seen, including the presence of a ship with a carved dragon figurehead.

"Alchemillia is by all accounts a less taxing city in which to stay than Londinium. The streets are quieter, the buildings better kept, and the golems that wander offer a sense of security. The city's namesake does unfortunately leave the traveler's clothes coated in a fine colorful soot, however."
A street view of a small town of tall ornate wood and plaster buildings. The chimneys bellow out colorful plumes of smoke. The roads are not paved, but they seem well taken care of. A golem wanders in the foreground, tall.

"Londinium is a fair city - as far as cities go. Densely populated with residences stacked and packed tightly together. What little open space isn't occupied is filled with crowds and markets. A bed here might be reasonable, but this traveler's bones preferred the cleaner air outside the city."

"Hidden deep in a glade of trees, heavy with ivy and the creeping of vines, sleeps a ruin. Inside those wrecked walls rests an artefact any would-be traveler of these lands could only dream of"
a ruin pictured among the woods. in the center appears to be a sword, held tight by two great stone hands. nearby are tools of a blacksmith

"Merlin's Sanctum was perhaps not what I had expected it to be. No humble abode awaited me at the end of this crystal-punctured path. Instead, a series of towers, hewn from the stone itself remained heavy in the air, at the center of a great rolling storm. I did not dare try to cross the chain."

Hey, pssssst! Wanna see some of the stuff I've been doing for @exregnumpublishing.bsky.social ? Yeah ya do. See below, the pages from a traveler's journal - The Wandering Scribe - on their explorations of a land hidden by the dense Mists of Albion.
