I welcome the government's announcement of a nationwide rollout of specialist rape and sexual offences courts. For too long, survivors of rape and serious sexual offences have faced unacceptable delays, often waiting months or even years for their cases to be heard. tinyurl.com/2fj2vns3

Headshots of PCC Clare Moody and PCC Matthew Scott. A quote reads: "Specialist courts have the potential to speed up proceedings, improve victim support and ensure a more trauma-informed approach throughout the court process. PCCs and Deputy Mayors have consistently championed the introduction of specialist rape courts because survivors deserve a justice system that understands and responds to the unique challenges they face."

I am inviting community groups across Avon and Somerset to apply for grants of £1,000 - £10,000 through my new Community Fund. This fund is about investing in communities, backing local solutions, and supporting projects that contribute to my Police and Crime Plan priorities: shorturl.at/vfbAp

Text that reads: Does your community project need funding? £1,000 - £10,000 available for projects that prevent crime and harm, improve community safety, reduce crime and anti-social behaviour, or support victims. A photo of PCC Clare Moody accompanies text that says 'find out more about the PCC Community Fund on my news page.'
