My first time taking on a more sci-fi and mecha type character comm. It was a lot of fun! This was for the client's Lancer TTRPG character, whose mech uses liquid metal in its abilities. The character's armour was drawn from a set from Halo. #lancer #lancerrpg #art #commission #ttrpg #halo

Imagining the Scions with alternate job roles. Moving on to Alisaie as a Dark Knight! A Dark Knight's true power comes from love, and who loves more fiercely than our girl? #ffxiv #ff14 #ffxivart

*Ultra* rough, but I noticed a lack of fem Hildibrands and I needed to try my hand at it before bed. #ffxiv #ff14 #ffxivart

FINALLY getting back to my Scion alt-roles. I managed to get the lineart for Alisaie-as-tank done today. Colour and render will be simple, now, right? Right? #ffxiv #ffxivart #alisaie

I've been listening to a lot of Time For Chaos lately, a Call of Cthulhu RPG podcast. A scene in the latest episode has Fairuz dramatically whip off a cultist robe to open fire, and that just sounded so fun to draw. #callofcthulhu #fanart @glasscannonnetwork.bsky.social @nouralogical.bsky.social

Some recent pieces. Always fun to add a pet minion in!

Chatbots — LLMs — do not know facts and are not designed to be able to accurately answer factual questions. They are designed to find and mimic patterns of words, probabilistically. When they’re “right” it’s because correct things are often written down, so those patterns are frequent. That’s all.

I'm really tired of hearing "oh yes, using generative AI that way is bad. But it's OK if you just do it *this* with it!" How everyone seems to agree that AI *should* be used and how everyone is *actually* using it bare no resemblance to one another.

I've been lucky enough to have a chibi version of my FFXIV character lovingly rendered by @lucarii.bsky.social. She's a fabulous little witch!

I'm illustrating the scions in new job roles. First up is Y'shtola as a melee Reaper! She's already shown no fear of the void, even a willingness to cozy up to voidsent, so this felt a nice fit. Getting to keep her fur collar was a bonus. Next, Estinien as ranged or Alisaie as tank! #ffxiv #ffxivart

So happy I can finally post this. @juicyxiv.bsky.social ran a contest last night for artists to put their WoL into another media's universe. I've loved the Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker promo artwork for ages and couldn't pass up the chance to marry the two. Thank you to all the judges of the night!!

So I'm working on a series of the scions in alternate job roles, starting with Reaper Y'shtola. I was going to wait until the pieces were done before posting them but the pencils and lineart on her have taken me so long that I need to mark the milestone as a win. #ffxiv #FF14 #ffxivart

Gay girl with a gay WoL! And a shot with her first crush from way back in ARR. Poor Yda needed to stand on some apple boxes for this one.
