This little guy (loonie-size) was trying to make his way up to the porch this morning. He didn't like being picked up, until he realized that my hand was nice and warm, then he didn't want to jump off! He is safely back in with the flowers, hopefully eating lots of pesky bugs.

I feel so paralyzed and hopeless, looking at our drought-decimated trees. I have never seen it like this, and still no reliable rain expected for weeks... 😭 So I console myself with my little oasis - thankfully, our well is allowing me to keep it going!

Curbside litter I picked up today in my 3Km dog-walking stretch of rural Southern Ontario. The weather has been great this fall. If you are able to, pick up some litter before the snow flies! You will feel good about it, and the planet will thank you for the help.
