🗯️ Q&A Q: What does the letter merchandise for writers entail? ↳ buff.ly/uNdKvXd

Q: What does the letter merchandise for writers entail?

A: Letter writers will contribute multiple epistolary-style pieces, meant to mimic letters from Franziska throughout her investigative career. One of these letters will be printed physically and included among physical zine bundles; any extra letters will be included digitally only. Letters will follow the same word count as our shortform writing.

To see exact examples of letter merchandise, you can see the physical and digital letters featured in Lavender Blue: A Franmaya Zine. Their Carrd will be provided below.

🗯️ Q&A Q: Do artist contributor portfolios need to be downloadable or permit zooming in?

Q: Do artist contributor portfolios need to be downloadable or permit zooming in?

A: For your portfolio, we do not need to be able to download the images, and do not plan to do so anyway, so long as the files are accessible to view as embeds, previews, etc.

However, all images must be large and in high quality to be properly viewed on a desktop computer, and zooming will be crucial to effectively assess small details and accommodate any screen size. Contributor portfolios of all formats and platforms should have their settings adjusted to allow zoom, if not already on by default.

🗯️ Q&A Q: How strict is the 18+ by results cutoff? Is it negotiable?

Q: How strict is the 18+ by results cutoff? Is it negotiable?

A: Unfortunately, we will be holding to this deadline that all contributor applicants must be 18 or older by November 1st, the date of our contributor results. Anyone below the age of 18 by this date, even those that may be of age shortly after, will not be permitted to apply. Applicants found to be under this 18+ policy will be automatically rejected.

While we understand that this will inevitably prevent some of our talented audience from applying, it would be unfair for our other applicants to begin making case-by-case exceptions. We hope you can understand.
