The Oakland FamilySearch Center (OFSC) offers this free research workshop in tribute to visionary Mrs. Electra Kimble Price, African American Genealogical Society of Northern California Lifetime Member, and the first African American Library Staffer of the OFSC. This workshop is an interactive exchange of research tools, methods, systems, and discussions designed to assist individuals with family histories and genealogies that have been impacted by the 16th-Century removal of Africans to the Americas as enslaved labor.
