The AACC Pastor Gathering is a space to step away, be strengthened in Jesus, and connect with other leaders serving in similar contexts. A place to share wisdom, pray together, and remember that you’re not carrying this calling alone.

Pastoring can be deeply meaningful… and at times, deeply isolating. Many Asian American pastors are carrying the weight of ministry while navigating cultural complexity, generational shifts, and the quiet pressures that few people truly understand. That’s why gatherings like this matter.

As we mark this milestone, we do so with gratitude for what has been entrusted to us, humility about the work that remains, and trust that God, who began this work, is still at work, shaping what comes next as we seek to serve Asian American Christians and remain rooted in what matters most.

We are deeply grateful for the many volunteers, partners, and supporters who have carried this work forward. As the apostle Paul writes in Philippians 1:3–6, “I thank my God every time I remember you… because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.”

For Asian American women, this month offers space to honor our courage, strength, and dignity, even when the journey is hard, and to recognize the beauty of God’s presence and restoring work. May we all continue learning how to step into the fullness of women’s stories.

This story reminds us that God is attentive to the realities women live with, including wounds that are not always visible or publicly named. Jesus hears what is spoken and what remains unspoken, and he enters spaces where trust has been strained and hope feels fragile.

In John 4, Jesus encounters a Samaritan woman at a well, a woman shaped by layers of exclusion and difference. He does not rush past her story or minimize what she carries. Instead, he listens, speaks truthfully, and offers what he calls living water, meeting her before promising renewal.

As we begin this Lenten journey, we walk side by side through the valley, bearing one another’s burdens and placing our hope in God’s promise. As Scripture reminds us, “The last enemy to be destroyed is death” (1 Corinthians 15:26).

Ash Wednesday invites us to remember, together, the truth of our shared humanity. Our lives are fragile and finite, shaped by loss and longing, yet held within God’s mercy. We name the reality of death without fear, trusting that it is not the final word.
