Anna Constable: Performer. Shark. Cow. Legend. 🎭🦈🐮 From a shark to a cow, and a rockstar to a ghost writer, Anna plays approximately 400 different roles in A Small Enclosed Room with Alfie Murphy. (We’re still checking if the cow gets a solo, but honestly, anything is possible).

Through scene work in pairs, artists explored character objectives, how to take direction and put new skills straight into practice. The room was absolutely buzzing with feedback, creative leaps, and big energy.

Back in 1976, a group of learning-disabled people started making theatre together as the Rainbow Drama Group (now known as Black Cab Company). 5 decades later, we’ve picked up stories, characters, chaos, friendships, standing ovations, questionable decisions, and a fair bit of wisdom along the way.
