the best HS teams in the country have multiple guys who will be in the NBA in a couple of years. they aren't normal high schools, they're basketball factories. but this literally doesn't matter. the value of women's sports isn't contingent on their performance vis a vis men.

All of these cases are basically litmus tests for any Dem nominee. Are immigrants Americans? Do trans Americans deserve human rights? Are corporations superhumans who get to spend endlessly on elections to put whoever they want into power? These are simple questions with simple answers.

This piece amplifies the politicized language of the critics of “cancel culture.” What kinds of courses should focus on cultivating “perspectives different from their own”? Engineering? Math? Biology? Should students in business, the country’s most popular major, be exposed to Marxist perspectives?
A small group of students tires to cancel an outspoken critic of cancel culture, who says that American education has been woefully deficient when it comes to exposing young people to perspectives different from their own.

Mamdani, at the news conference, argued that the notion of affordability needs to be broadened.
"When I speak about making our city more affordable, my vision is not limited to the homes that we live in or the child care that we're making universal — it's also a vision where we make it possible for working people to afford lives of joy, of art, of rest, of expression," he said.

The American people, regardless of where they reside, should not live under the

threat of occupation by the United States military, particularly not simply because their city or state

Quote from CBA article describing the varied groups that came together.

The rally in downtown Chicago drew a diverse crowd representing numerous interests.

"You can see we have Palestinian organizations, Black organizations, workers' organizations, and so much more all together," said Alithia Zamantakis of the Party for Socialism and Liberation.

LGBTQ communities, civil liberties groups, and higher education were also all represented. Each of these groups said they turned out because they feel their community is under attackQuote from U of C professor in CBS article:

"There is growing recognition that what the Trump administration is trying to do is isolate us from each other. 'Immigrants are the problem. Trans people are the problem. College professors are the problem. The Palestine movement is the problem,'" said Gabriel Winant, an assistant, professor of history at the University of Chicago who marched with American Association of University Professors. "And if we let that happen, then they will pick us off one by one."
