That is a beautiful picture! I have never seen it that close up level of detail of a wing like that, but it's intricate.

This is a very sad scenario because there are many young men out there who are looking for genuine guidance and direction in life. I think many of them want to do good, but instead of finding positive role models, they come across these toxic influencers who promote hate 😥

Omggg!! These are so cute I love them! I got my bat stuffed animal out of storage the other day, and I am totally ready for Halloween even though it's not even October yet 🦇🎃

I went for a early morning walk at the park, and it was simply lovely. #porto #portugal

Some vegan chili that I made for dinner! I can't take credit for the bread as this came from the store, but it was super yummy #vegan #veganfood

Thanks for all of the support and encouragement! It's really a challenge building a completely new life in a new country, but I'm really happy to see myself learning a little bit more about the country and the language each day and slowly starting to feel like this is my new home. 😊

I'm working with customer support here in Portugal. It's crazy because this is my first job working abroad. How's everything your way? I know things are getting crazy in the US, so I really hope you're staying safe 🙏

Last month I started my very first job since transitioning, and it's been amazing. 3 years ago, I never would have thought that someday wearing the clothes I love would just be a normal everyday occurrence for me #trans #lgbtq

That's impressive! Duolingo is really habit forming, isn't it? I started doing it several years ago, and now it's just part of my daily routine. There's a part of me that would feel guilty if I made the owl sad by missing a day 😂

I just wanted to wish you a speedy recovery!!

I had an absolutely massive surgery one month ago, and I just wanted to mark the anniversary by taking time to thank everyone who's helped me through the recovery. The first couple weeks were rough, but I'm slowly getting back to normal activities. Also, here's a beautiful flower I saw. #trans #mtf

Thanks so much for pointing that out! I don't really do a lot of environmental data analysis, so it's always interesting when I come across these data sets that I'm not very familiar with because I always learn something new 😊

I explored a beautiful little park in Porto this weekend, and I absolutely loved this stone gazebo.

I haven't figured the algorithm out here either. Sometimes I post frequently, sometimes I post infrequently, and the reach seems to be completely random for me 😂

I simply do not understand the appeal of exotic hunting like this. It's heartbreaking that people see animals for nothing more than sport 😢

It was very surprising to me as well. One of the issues in the US is that we have a lot of programs that only cover a small section of the population. This leads to a lot of duplication, increased administrative overhead, and inefficiency compared to just having one system that covers everyone.

Many people say the US can’t afford universal healthcare, but the data tells a different story. The US already spends more per capita on publicly funded healthcare than many countries that have universal coverage #rstats #data #healthpolicy #tidytuesday

I'm so sorry to hear about the dreams. I really struggle with bad dreams as well, and it's so frustrating. I've tried herbal tea, going to bed early, going to bed late, eating before bed, not eating before bed, and nothing seems to work. 😓.

I'm glad you found an artist who cares so much about their work. The same person did all of my piercings, and I can say that it absolutely makes a difference when you have confidence and trust in the artist doing things

It has been so busy for me as well! I've been doing a lot of school and trying to squeeze in my Portuguese lessons when I can. Even though it's busy, it's a great time and I'm definitely enjoying it. 😁

Thank you! It was really delicious. The past month or so I let myself get so busy with work that I just ate very "sad", bland food for lunch. So, I'm trying to reclaim lunch as a happy time by making sure I take just a few minutes to make myself something a bit nicer 😊
