The ram doesn't turn around, but still begins to speak, still crouched at the headstone he was polishing. "Come to mourn a loved one?" His voice is definitely elderly-sounding.

"Haha, indeed." He nods, biting the apple again, rectangular eyes glancing upward to the heavens. "We cannot hope to understand Him."

"I see. Perhaps it is providence from above we have met, then." He chuckles as he takes another bite from the apple. "God is certainly mysterious. Do you not agree?"

He simply shrugs, before deciding to eat the apple himself, still keeping that smile on his smout the entire time. "Is that so?"

"My name is Bel, child. I am a travelling priest, and I am no monster." He gives a polite nod of his head and a wide smile. It seems... slightly too wide, but that could have just been a trick of the light.

"And what is particularly 'weird' about it, child?" He tilts his head slightly, seeming to be genuinely curious.

Another nod as a response, followed by holding out its palm upward. From the white void within, darkness deeper than dark began to froth and bubble, forming a chunk of Shadow Crystal. Even without words, the order was clear; tempt someone into becoming a holder.

Blade meets blade in a heartbeat; a thing of blackened glass held in a hand that was empty a moment ago. The wind blows around them, bringing a bitter chill that bites at the very soul.

Darkness takes shape from darkness; a misasmic black taking humanoid shape, clad in void that leaves images of itself drifting in its wake. A Roaring Knight appeared.

It remains silent. A passive observer, unlike most of the other Knights that now populate this dark. Quietly, it fades into the background, shadowed form melting into the dark around them, with only that pale visor proof of its presence. It wants to see what she will do.

...It still dislikes this Dark World in particular. It's literally garbage. Nothing but discarded waste. Though a mirror reflects only what it sees, of course.

Dark hand meets dark hand in greeting; an affirmation of alliance. They seek the same goal, after all, and two blades were greater than one.

And like a reflection, the tilt is returned. Were they both called by, and brought to serve, the same dark deeper than dark that breathed beneath? Only silence prevailed amidst the gaze of mirrors.
