I personally don’t think waters a huge deal Here’s my things with them, 1. NDAs developers make public servants sign 2. E-waste, Accelerators have a shelf life of 5 years max 3. Redevelopment: there really isn’t anything we can turn them into after they are shutdown, At least there is no literatur

In the short term I completely agree with you, but in the long term I have no idea why it wouldn’t be the case. Even something as simple as saying “We have NO AI in our console” it would ingratiate a lot of people. Additionally one could focus more on making games rather than hardware.
