Today, Sept 30, we observe National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (#NDTR). Established as an official holiday in 2021 in response to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Calls to Action, NDTR honours the children who never made it home and the Survivors of residential schools.

On July 6, the City of London will close Western Rd. south of Sarnia Rd. for approximately two weeks. Drivers are asked to proceed with care and allow extra time when travelling to campus. More information: buff.ly/EJpC6X5
On July 6, the City of London will close Western Road south of Sarnia Road to all traffic to perform upgrades to underground infrastructure. The closure is expected to last two weeks.

Northbound traffic on Western Road will not be able to access Sarnia Road or cross the intersection. Traffic will be able to access the entrance to London Hall and Essex Hall and the businesses on the west side of the street.

Southbound traffic on Western Road will be routed west on Sarnia Road and will not be able to cross the intersection.

Eastbound traffic on Sarnia Road will be routed north on Western Road and will not be able to access Western Road to the south of the intersection.

The City of London will begin construction on Philip Aziz Avenue on May 19, 2026. The road will be fully closed starting May 25 and is expected to remain closed until July 2027. The project includes upgrades to watermains, sidewalks, cycling lanes, gutters, and sewers.

The South Valley and Huron Flats parking lots will remain accessible via Huron Drive.

On Western Road, intermittent sidewalk closures and lane restrictions will be in effect between Platts Lane and Elgin Drive during the project.

Drivers are asked to proceed with care and allow extra time when traveling around campus.
