As time runs out, the European Union needs a more unified approach. Only Ireland, Spain, and Slovenia were part of the walking-out statement. Volt Ireland believes that to create solutions to global issues, we need a combined effort and accountability for countries that break international law.

Irish - a language once suppressed - is growing again. Irish gained full EU status in 2022, and today thanks to EU funding and a cultural revival, almost 2 million people speak it. Europe didn’t erase our identity - it protected it 🇮🇪🇪🇺 Happy International Mother Language Day!
