How is Winter and Network Analysis similar? 🤔 Both reveal structures that are usually hidden, or non-obvious.

A winter scene of bare trees, showing their intricate branch structures. Trees are found on both banks of the Rocky River in the Cleveland (Ohio) Metro Parks.

Had an interesting conversation of Politics recently and how the old linear model may no longer be an accurate way to view things. Maybe it is the loop instead of the line??? 🤔

A graphic showing two views of politics. The old model of a 2D line with Left-Center-Right appearing in their respective place on the line. The new model of a 3D loop, with the far left and far right actually touching in the loop, with the Center (plus Center-Left & Center-Right) appearing on the other side of the loop.

The ratio has probably gone up since this was published …

The picture is of an industry mogul looking out of his window onto the factory spread out below him. He is saying:
‘NOBODY WANTS TO WORK FOR 399 TIMES LESS THAN WHAT | MAKE ANYMORE."”

Not a double exposure… looking out from greenhouse type window/roof in OldTown #Riga and seeing many reflections and what is behind you — tower in upper left corner. #Photography #architecture

Strange mushrooms in our neighbors yard in #Latvia. Never seen such tall mushrooms... yet, Latvia is the land of tall everything... people, trees, etc. Anyone know what these mushrooms are???

Strange tall mushrooms in neighbor's yard/lawn. Tall stems, with large white heads, the size of a dinner plate. Heads have a starburst pattern of brown dots

Late Summer Flowers in our garden in #Latvia Surprised to see our Magnolia bush blossoming again. The other flower I do not know, but the butterfly on it is gorgeous. #Nature #Photography #FlowerPhotography #BloomScrolling

Late summer dark pink Magnolia blossom in Latvia. Dark green background of out-of-focus Magnolia leaves. The Magnolia bloomed this April and again now in August! Does this happen often?

I don't know what this dark pink flower is in our garden in Latvia. I also don't know what butterfly this is on the flower. Both a pretty, but their colors don't match... orange/black vs. pink/white.
