The #CitizensCongress needs a website to get started. If you can help to design a website or if you want to help to fund one, we can get this effort off the ground and start pushing back against the disastrous agendas of politicians. Patriots, STEP UP!!!

We need to stop thinking about politics in terms of empowering politicians to lead us & think in terms of empowering ourselves & fellow Americans to hold politicians accountable! WE the People have the power!!! The blueprint in the pinned thread at USCitizensCongress.bsky.social is how we wield it.

Why play the game that politicians rigged for you to lose when you can change the game and force politicians to serve you? A #CitizensCongress is how We the People restore our democracy, fix our country and save ourselves! Read the pinned thread at @uscitizenscongress.bsky.social for the game plan.

That's awesome! We want to submit reforms to Congress that are already drafted in the correct form. We don't want Congress to debate them and redraft them, just pass them as submitted. Your help with doing that will be incredibly important. I'm working on a website so people can sign up/get involved

A #CitizensCongress wld allow us as citizens to draft reforms we need to fix our broken political system. A limited agenda of just 3 issues wld have 95%+ support from citizens, meaning the CC wld potentially have an enormous voting bloc that can remove any politician that fails to enact our reforms.

US Citizens' Congress @uscitizenscongress.bsky.social · 03/06/2026

We don't now have the right to propose legislation to Congress or to propose ethics rules. We also don't have the right to vote on them. A #CitizensCongress gives us the power to control the things that matter. As you mentioned, politicians know how to manipulate. We need to control their behavior!

We need a website to get off the ground. Then, people elect their delegates, they propose & debate reform proposals. Participants can also propose reforms & vote to ratify reforms. Ratified reforms will be sent to Congress to be passed as written (no edits/amendments).

US Citizens' Congress @uscitizenscongress.bsky.social · 03/06/2026

Getting money out of politics, ensuring election integrity and making strict ethics rules for Congress so that corruption cannot exist. 95% plus people support these issues, which should give us a voting bloc powerful enough to remove any politician that fails to enact our reforms.

For security we should own, host and develop our own platforms. Websites are pretty simple to build and one would allow people to sign up, communicate, etc. Ultimately, a phone app will most likely be used to share, debate and ratify reform proposals.

The majority of Lebanese want Hezbollah to give up its arms. The Lebanese government is willing to negotiate directly with Israel. It might be a historic moment which, if not grabbed, could instead lead to a return of familiar patterns of continued & inconclusive cycles of violence. No pay wall.

Israeli action in Lebanon risks repeating history’s mistakes — and torpedoing a historic moment for dialogue

The resumption of war between Hezbollah and Israel has raised the prospect of an occupation of southern Lebanon.
