We've been quiet, but working. Life and other projects often come up, but the fire is strong Transgressive will return in *extremely early* 2027 with our second full length album as promised - all the goodness of preorders and singles and announcements before year's end We will not be silent

Rainbow capitalist pride means nothing The Pride Marsha P Johnson was *murdered* for means everything There are no queer cops. There are no queer politicians. There are no queer corporations. Maybe less merch with rainbows on them and more trans fucking rights Stay safe out there queers

It's been a rough year so far. But we are working on Album 2 to make sure we deliver something truly epic and impactful. Guitar solos finished up and Josh delivered the shred nasty like only he could--only bass is left to record, and mixes are coming along great. We will not be silent.

Trans women of color are disproportionately affected by transphobic and racist violence Please don't forget Black trans women specifically are one of our most vulnerable and at risk groups Our sisters deserve to live, and thrive But this year has already taken too much Rest in Power Aleanna

Some thoughts I have, mostly trying to speak as one white leftist to my white peers who have struggled to see the big picture and embrace more than just milquetoast leftism.

Remember in 1933 when the nazis burned the Sexology institute down and murdered all the scientists researching medical care for transgender people and also disappeared and murdered a bunch queer and disabled people as a test for the holocaust and then the 'good guys' kept that part secret and buried as lost history for about 50 years?
Much like that moment of suppression and denial, people are waking up far too late ad not nearly enough and failing to see genocides in action since the country's very founding and the whole pictuere
We arent like the Nazis
The Nazis were like us--inspired by Jim Crow, slavery, and manifest destiny--we were the very model of white supremacy, and we fine tuned ourselves with what we learned
The Nazis lost WWII--but facsism won decisively and has been on a steamroll of global empire and genocide every day since
This is who we've always been
We massacred a half million Iraqis in the oughts and some of you 'liberals' think the world got bad in 2015
They killed Malcolm X, Fred Hampton, MLK Jr and dismantled the Black Panthers and you thought voting for a guy who supported that would save us
We spent 10 years in Vietnam and you only now reckon we might be the bad guys
This country was founded on stolen land by slave owners and those genocides continue to this very moment snd you thought the flsg, the constitution, and the idea of America were something that could be reformed if it was 'done right' instead of the perfectly executed killing machine working as designed that it is

We must become something different, and leave no trace of what was built on blood, slavery, and genocide
You need to finally fucking see what you've been ignoring until it was too close to home and in your face to realize
There was no golden era
There was no America that had any right to exist
Our values were foundationally white supremacy
It's not enough to disavow your white privilege
You must active dismantle the protections it gives you
It will look different for all of us
But you can't keep going on in blind liberal comfort thinking this is all the result of one man, a single decade, and a couple of elections
Voting won't save you
The controlled opposition and genocide lovers of the democrats won't save you
Only we can save us
No more excuses--shed the last bits of you clinging to the systems built by white supremacy that underpin the foundations of your life
You're already *far* too late by many of the estimates of Black, indegenous, trans, queer, disabled, etc people who have been screaming at you the things you think you are discovering for the first time now
But there's no time like right fucking now to truly radicalize yourself

Have we said fuck the red, white, and blue lately? Yeah.

In exciting news we have a tape re-release of "Extreme Transgression" coming via Fiadh Productions soon!

And we may have a vinyl re-release...more to come, and not in the bag, but hey it might happen

And also we are nearing completion on two new EPs (7 new songs total) to hopefully release before the end of the year, while our second album bakes in the background for a hopeful early 2026 release

In NOT so exciting news the US Empire continues to crumble into an ever greater nightmare and we would really like to just say please take care of yourselves and hold on to each other as best you can.

We protect us. Now more than ever. Solidarity, always.

It's become clear we should have a Transgressive page and not just shove everything onto my personal profile! Please share/follow etc if you are interested Thank you so much to the hundreds of people that supported 'Remember Us to Death' yesterday SO much more to come

Thank you to everyone that supported the release of "Remember Us to Death" yesterday

The outpouring of support means everything

The song in question is a very important one to us given this moment in history

As best we can, we must remember the ones we've lost

And fight for who we still have

As far as the band--Transgressive has a lot ahead

Later this year will see the release of another EP titled "Never Go Quiet" and have two original songs in a few months time

And then our planned second album "Not Even Death is Sacred" later in the year

And in 2026 we will be hitting the road and coming to the stage, along with more new releases

We will not be silent

Solidarity and love to you all
