was showing friends my journal last night n wanted to share!! been doing a lot of traditional work again as an antidote to -current timeline- and rly connecting with drawing for fun again. Forgot how helpful it is to just do raw ideas/rough studies without worrying about it being good!

a variety of pencil sketches and micron pen doodles from my sketchbooks- mostly studies, thumbnails for pieces and other brainvom

just checkin in🐤 things are ok! really have had an epiphany lately and making an effort to work on my shit, thank you for still being here

Just wanna be open for a bit as some people have been checking in. I know it appears like I'm opening for commissions more often, but I'm not increasing my work intake if that makes sense.
It's now not possible to open once a month and have slots fill up there and then, it takes the entirety of a month for them to sell (sometimes they just don't). I have to keep hustling pretty much non stop, and I know I'm not alone in this (I see you guys too). Queue progress has been steady despite hitting a few speed bumps, currently logging 40-50 drawing hours a week so please don't think my silence has been me taking you guys for granted and fucking off, far from it <3
For transparency- I have an opportunity/very limited window to get a mortgage on my single income so I'm desperately plugging up remaining debt holes as well as keeping the bills paid and man, I'm trying, I'm keeping positive but everything is so uncertain!! Everything is fucking so much m o n e y. I also need to save up for private ADHD assessment, which would make my entire life make sense if confirmed. My default state is hyperfocus mode which is great for making things but you can easily sit by and let the rest of your life go to shit without even realising. I suck at replying to messages promptly, ive always found it an overwhelming part of the job and i'm trying to be better at doing things immediately so they don't enter the void of 'tomorrow'. It's only gotten harder as I've gotten older. So please don't feel bad about reminding me to reply to you, it really helps.
I'm not able to give a lot more time to being social online so I'm sorry if i’m not chatty beyond work stuff <3 Appreciate each and every one of you that comments, shares or gives me money to keep living and puts up with my brain, you help me push the stone so I can keep creating, thank you thank you thank. <3
