Whenever I update my home server, jellyfin forgets all my plugin settings. I've seen nobody else with this issue online so I'm assuming it's a problem on my end, but I cannot track it down.

When I complain about CS/SE graduates not knowing how to use version control systems, it is not to shame the graduates, but the institutions that failed to impart upon them such a critical skill.

it's interesting to me how the prevailing opinion on a given subject among a specific demographic on one social network can differ so much from the prevailing opinion on the same subject among the same demographic on a different but very similar social network

I might fork projectM. as a crossplatform re-implementation of Milkdrop, it's great. but there's a lot of aspects of the approach Milkdrop (and therefore projectM) takes that I'm not happy with.

[Doctor Who grumblings] there have been talks about bringing David Tennant back *again*. I thought it was fine for a three-episode outing, but I don't think it's a good idea to keep revisiting. If you're gonna bring a previous Doctor back, Jo Martin and Paul McGann are much better choices.
