James, Kat & Tina taught 13 1-2-1 lessons. Meanwhile in the workshop cycles have been refurbished ready for sale & some repairs too. Plus, Andy has worked miracles keeping the administration under control. 7/7

4 Beginner Biking courses (24 riders) with many children riding unaided by the end. Fun Skills course was great fun, & all 7 improved their cycling skills. 6/7

Our Balance Biking course was great fun,with 6 children, the twins marking their bikes with bows! 5/7

On Monday we took delivery of our new trailer www.cargobike.co.uk So we had a major tidy up in our stores to make space 🙄 thanks Sam for your help. 7 🚲 ready for HDSF to take into schools to help children in need & we donated 5 🚲 to St Albans refugee support organisation. 4/7

[N] started to learn to ride with a series of one-to-one lessons and by the end of the holidays was ready to take Bikeability at his school next week. Adults started their learning journey too. Two adults attending our Adult and 16+ sessions. Both are now riding independently. 3/7

2 HAPpy Bikeability courses & two hub ones. 17 riders enjoyed Bikeability level 2. 6 riders cycled just about everywhere cycling is permitted in Stevenage on their Bikeability level 2 courses. Thanks to Rory, Sam, Marcel, James & Tina. 2/7

Back at the hub, we sold a pre-loved cycle, a helmet, and some locks. In the workshop, we returned a repaired bike to its owner and started working on the next one in the queue. Finally, we will be planning a new series of ABC easy rides starting in April. Book on: www.letsride.co.uk 3/3

Just 2 lessons today. The first one was a second lesson and the 6yo rode independently 👏 The second one made great progress towards independence 🚲☺️ The workshop was busy as was the office with bookings for half term.

A serviced cycle was collected, new brake blocks and chain on my bike (it now needs a new block 🙄), more tidying in the store room and a pile of old tyres donated to Mandeville School St Albans for an art project.

Two small children now riding well after lessons with Marcel. Two children almost riding independently after a lesson with Tina. In the workshop, one service was completed, and another cycle dropped off for next weeks work.

One of our previous learners collected his commuter bike from our workshop after its repair. Incidentally, last night, we were out and met up with another of our adult learners who had cycled to the event. 2/2

Another great day @ Fairlands Valley Park. A boy took home a certificate proving he can cycle on his own. Last weeks adult cycled fully independently for the first time. She was delighted as was our instructor. 1/2

It's a bit chilly, but we taught two children to ride today. Our first adult of the year just about riding independently plus a child made cracking progress. Pun intended.

Our first Skeet. We are the community cycling hub in Fairlands Valley Park, #Stevenage. We exist to help, encourage & enable more people to cycle to get to work, school & leisure. We have a small shop, offer training and our workshop can do servicing & repairs. /1
