Idk my heart is with the victim first and foremost. Additionally, I personally feel… idk weird(?) because friends always said Geller’s videos felt similar to how I write my own. I was never a viewer but received a lot of “you specifically would love this!” Not loving the comparison nowadays.

So yeah, I'm upset because I was holding him in higher esteem, and because I believed him when he used to take a stance. But whatever, in the end he's a white tech bro like the rest of them. He was woke when being woke used to be good business. Now Al & fascism are in vogue, and so that's where he's pointing his sails.

Folks like me who aren't white, aren't cis, aren't entitled men, we should be getting used to seeing our pretend allies flapping their wings away, because it'll keep happening. I'll be moving on now.

To summarize, there was a seemingly upstanding tech writer who built an audience and small podcast network on being a good guy with good takes (vocally standing against Elon and AI) but it seems he changed course because it wasn’t financially viable. So like, I’m not NOT liking Lanterns, but the pacing of the season feels so odd. I just want a stronger sense of what the threat actually is (not fan speculation) but they hit us with a flashback episode that tells us almost nothing we didn’t already know from the first episode’s opening scene.
