I saw a comic base on dA and just HAD to use it as inspiration. It's based vaguely on a scene in Dead Man Walking before the two are found by the monster. ^_^

A comic of Brooks and Chip, in uniform, lost in a facility. Brooks is sitting up against a wall, holding onto Chip starting out with them both asleep. Chip has an injury bandaged on his left thigh. Brooks wakes up slowly, soon drawn to movement and sound of Chip sleeping rough. He cradles his head and gives a gentle kiss which seems to soothe the sleeping crewmate.

More ask game art! First one was OC in winter clothes to which I did Citrus. And the second is OC in another's usual outfit. Brooks is rocking Barda's (DND npc oc) attire and HE WEARS IT BETTER! I played with textures for this one. #ocsky

More @fimioko.bsky.social coms because I'M WEAK! I like that these go together. I always need some fluff when writing DMW because I have to remind me there's a sweetness at the end of the tunnel. I loooove these two, Chip's freckllllles are so cute!

Black and white sketch of Brooks and Chip on a bed. Both are only wearing underwear. Chip is laying on the bed, blushing with a flicker of nerves. Brooks leans over him for a kiss, a hand resting on Chip's chest.

Black and white image of Chip and Brooks having missionary sex on a bed. Chip's holding onto Brooks' neck, eyes are closed with a look of pleasure.

Brooks and Chip are still on the bed. Brooks is kissing Chip's shoulder. Chip is leaning forward on his blanketed knees with a smile.

I posted my One Year Anniversary celebration fic for Dead Man Walking! It's fluffy and I loved writing even though I DID NOT give myself any time. There's art that I went so hard on in it! Certainly not the tone of the main story. archiveofourown.org/works/77380041 #ocsky #digitalart #ao3fic

I just got these absolutely ADORABLE ychs from @fimioko.bsky.social and just, they look so good. This is so in DMW future after the main storyline and now Chip is 100% getting little star tattoos on his back. Making his stardust pet name even better ✨✨

Greyscale sketch of Brooks and Chip laying in bed. Both are shirtless with Chip perched on top with a relaxed smile. A few dozen stars are scattered between his numerous scars on his back. Brooks is stroking Chip's hair, watching him lovingly. His neck and upper chest have a few bite marks littered across his skin.

Ratchet and Rook is the same pose as before, Rook resting on top. Ratchet has a few marks on her neck and shoulder. She's smiling lazily while giving Rook's scalp light scratches.

A little preview of a fic I'm cooking up. A new year fic, figured that the Lethal Company universe wouldn't celebrate Christmas but everyone celebrates New Year. I hope to get it out for the 1 year anniversary of DMW. I am ridiculously proud of this piece, I put so much time into it #ocsky

Citrus is the ONLY crewmate Captain has a 'decent' relationship with. You can't fuck too much with the medic or he won't fix you when you get clawed up. That and well, behind the scenes dealings have lent the smallest crewmate far more freedom than anyone else. #ocsky

Captain and Citrus, the shorter man, stare at each other with animosity that's only visible on Citrus' face. Captain is over a head taller than Citrus, hands on his hips and outlined in red. Behind him is green coded blood. Citrus wears his orange jumpsuit uniform with his arms crossed. He is outlined in blue with a green haze surrounding his head.

010

SamuelMaybird @samuelmaybird.bsky.social · 20/12/2025

A bit more symbolic but Captain vs Brooks. Two stubborn personalities that could be the same side of the coin so easily but foils instead. Brooks is the perfect storm to maybe...finally, cause enough waves to break the team for the better. If he isn't killed first. #ocsky #digitalart

010

SamuelMaybird @samuelmaybird.bsky.social · 02/12/2025

I knew nailing down Captain's design would open me to making Chip's time even worse haha. I have pieces planned for him interacting with the others too but, I mean, his focus is mostly on the poor unfortunate asset. Sorry, not sorry, Chip. You're cute when you're upset. :3 #ocsky

Captain, a helmet wearing man in a yellow jacket, threatening Chip in dim lighting. He's grabbing his face, holding him firmly in place with his thumb digging into his cheek. Chip, brown haired man in green, is looking in fear at his faceless superior.

"Watch. your. tongue. mutt." Is said with red mixed into the yellow words, indicating a veiled threat and hard tone. A barely legible "yes, sir." is all Chip can say back, all lowercase with shaky lines.

Captain has Chip pinned to the ground in the dark. He's straddling him and holding the other's left arm down. His other hand is clamped over Chip's mouth, nearly blocking his nose. His visor is the only light source, dimly illuminating the two. Chip is stuck, sweating nervously and crying in terror, unable to speak or sign.

"Crying already?

Pathetic.

I'll give you something to cry about."

I swore I wouldn't give this bastard a ref but I can't draw scenes from the fic without knowing what he looks like. Making an intimidating character with the main color being yellow was a task. Had to break Lethal Company design rules for him but...it really matches his shtick. #ocsky#refsheet

⚠ Blood, nocon A commission purchased from @rotehaare.bsky.social of a scene from my fic Dead Man Walking. Chip's luck ran out on Rend and can only endure until the Bracken is finished with him. Unfortunately for him, heavier than he'd like. #nsfwart

Point of view from below. A large plant like monster, Bracken, has a human, Chip, pinned under its body. Chip's thighs and side are marked with bloody claw marks. A deep bite marks his right shoulder. The monster has blood smeared across its face, pupil-less eye staring forward. It holds onto Chip tightly, trying to get its knot inside. Chip's eyes are rolled back, biting his lip as he loses the fight against cumming. His face wears an expression of guilty shame as he does not want to be in this situation.

SamuelMaybird @samuelmaybird.bsky.social · 14/10/2025

Page 9 Snapped out of his fantasy he is reminded that Chip is not in a position to be vulnerable. It's not safe for him yet. So the core of his desires is the last thought, how he wants to see a genuine smile.

Brooks looks concerned, the hearts gone from his eyes.
"But mostly...I want to see you Smile..."
Yellow begins to creep in from below, pushing the blue back.

000

SamuelMaybird @samuelmaybird.bsky.social · 14/10/2025

Pages 5-8 Further into the daydream he goes, eventually to be influenced Chip's condition. Making the backgrounds were very fun. #comic #ocsky

Brooks falls further into his daydream, skin also fading into the universe. His brown eyes are dilated and marked with green hearts. A soft blush dusts his cheeks.
"I want to count your stars."

This Chip is a pure fantasy as Brooks has never seen him naked. Scars litter his back, bites marking his shoulders and claws left stripes down his spine. Freckled colored stars come off his skin. Brooks is gently running his fingers down to his hips.
The right image has him about to kiss Chip's neck, head held close.
"To learn your hidden constellations."

His daydream begins to be influenced by Chip's condition and gets more sexual. Brooks holds his fantasy man in his lap, hands holding onto his back just under his shoulder blades. Stars dance off his skin in the color of his freckles.
He has Chip under him, being clung onto by the freckled man. Faded words are barely seen hidden in the stardust that suggest he is gently encouraging Chip while making love.
"To make the heavens Sing."

The fantasy drops back to half reality as Chip notices he is being watched. Stars act as eyeshine matching with a soft smile.
Reality crashes in as Chip's eyes widen in panic, frowning and blushing ever so slightly. The background starts to fade to the flat green.

SamuelMaybird @samuelmaybird.bsky.social · 14/10/2025

Pages 1-4 I wanted to explore Brooks' fascination with Chip and how he sees the other when his mind wanders. Needed to draw something cute after the chapter I just dropped for Dead Man Walking. #ocsky #comic

Brooks, a man with dark brown hair and lighter brown beard, sitting on his bunk looking off to his right, looking distracted and bored. He's wearing a white shirt and blue uniform pants.

Something or someone catches his attention. The background changes from his blue to Chip's green.

Chip, a freckled man with curly brown hair, is curled up on his bunk. His attention is fully on Citrus. He is wearing his uniform jacket and green shorts that show his lower legs marked with a few scars. A tiny smile rests on his face listening to the tale his friend is recounting. Citrus, a transman with a blonde fluff hawk, is sitting close to Chip while animatedly talking. He's not wearing any of the uniform, instead just wearing a tanktop and orange boxers.

Through Brooks' eyes he begins to see Chip's freckles as countless stars. Reality begins to recede to his daydream shown with Chip's skin fading out to a backdrop of the universe.

Yeeesss! Another wonderful YCH from @darkchibishadow.bsky.social. Rook and Citrus look perfect in their sexual menacing. Citrus loves a good time and Rook is more than happy to scratch this boy's itches.

Rook and Citrus laying on a white couch with Rook topping. Citrus is a trans man with a blonde fluffhawk and devious smirk. Rook is holding his hands and asking 'Tapping out, cowboy?' The response is 'Pssh! I ain't no quitter. Try harder, sugar~'

Pride is never over! I just HAD to do Rook and Ratchet. I loved thinking of Rook's outfit, knew he'd be punk/gender and I'm very pleased. #ocsky #Prideart

Waist up image of Rook and Ratchet enjoying a moment in a pride celebration. Rook is a black man with signs of vitiligo on his face, arms and knees. Their loose spun locs are styled into a mullet. His outfit consists of a shirt, denim vest, rainbow fishnet gloves and skirt. The shirt is a genderqueer tie-dyed t-shirt with orange bead fringe. His vest has a rainbow flag and genderqueer heart patch. Their shorter mainly black skirt has pan colored waistband and tulle. The outfit is completed with a black fishnets and calf high steel reinforced chunky boots. He's being carried on Ratchet's shoulders, bent over her head to smile happily at her. Ratchet is a tan skinned transwoman with reddish brown hair and scars on her nose and arm. She beams back, wearing a loose, flowy trans colored crop top. The hem of maroon shorts completes her look.

Another @darkchibishadow.bsky.social YCH of Rook and Ratchet. Rook looks so damn cute and pleased with themself.

From below angle of Rook, a black man with vitiligo. His hair hangs in loose locs styled into a mullet. A red collar sits around his neck. They wear a drunk smile getting railed by a mostly off screen Ratchet, his transfem partner.

Alt with a leash attached to the collar.

Loved exploring how they'd dress for pride. Chip's insecurity with his scars would mean he wouldn't be dressing loudly. However Brooks would be loud and proud and never make Chip feel bad about how he presents himself. He loves his shy boyfriend to bits. #ocsky #digitalart #prideart

Not done with the crew but I'm in love with this piece. Seeing Chip smile feels illegal with how much I do enjoy the suffering from The Horrors. The smile and life in his eyes is so good. I plan an alt outfit that's not their work uniforms. #ocsky #Digitalart

Brooks a tan skinned man with long dark hair and lighter beard wearing a blue work uniform. Chip a shorter, fair skinned man with reddish brown hair and freckles wears a green work uniform. They are ptictured with rainbow background holding the gay man pride flag. Brooks is kissing the top of Chip's head who is smiling shyly and blushing. Chip is wearing an aroace bracelet while Brooks' patch has the Bi flag and painted polyam nails.
