In much of the country, landlords can raise rent by any amount or refuse to renew a lease for no reason. Resistbot wants state lawmakers, and everyone running for those seats, to pass a renters’ bill of rights: rent-hike limits, no more no-cause evictions, and a right to counsel in eviction court.
