👋 Thanks for the extra context. Unless your client has specific requirements for why they would want a subdomain policy, the root domain DMARC policy will apply to your subdomain and work well. It's also how we use DMARC ourselves. One DMARC to rule them all :)

You can add DMARC subdomain records, but many users have a single DMARC policy for their entire domain and let subdomains use that one. What is your motivation? Do you want different policies for different subdomains?
