The Spirit Blade was saved from a dark ritual by an expert swordsman, who adopted and trained him on their journey. When his teacher passed, their soul remained in the steel that the Spirit Blade wields. We didn't want only humanoids, and we feel there is a strong story to tell with this one ❤️🐾

The Puppetmaster was probably the most difficult hero to concept. We wanted her to feel powerful, and we needed her puppet to be imposing. In designing her we were essentially designing two separate heroes that would play symbiotically. #Art #Illustration #Fantasy #Boardgame #Promo

The Knight went through quite a few concept #Art passes. They wield a shiftable Sword/Shield akin to a Monster Hunter ChargeBlade. The last remaining member of the fallen Order of the Wellbreakers, the Knight has sworn an oath to destroy the Power Well by any means necessary! #Fantasy #Boardgame
