Lishan oolong tea next to white teapot. Feng huang dan cong oolong tea next to green teapot. Both teapots have lids off to reveal leaves inside awaiting water at 195 degrees Fahrenheit to steep for 3 minutes and 1 minute, respectively, after initial wash.

Overheating is a constant struggle for me, to the extent that access to thermoregulation affects almost every choice I make all summer long.

I painted this without cooling systems other than drinking water, and I channeled my seasonal suffering and discomfort into this piece. I love the outdoors, but I am looking forward to colder weather.
