Another Thames Water mains burst - this time on Kingston Road, Wimbledon. The road is now closed to traffic while being repaired. It's time the Government put Thames Water into Special Administration to stop the cynical profiteering & begin rebuilding our water infrastructure.

Yesterday I met campaigners calling for Wimbledon's District Line signalling to be brought into the 21st century. The rest of the line is getting upgraded, but Wimbledon is stuck with technology from the 1980s. I’m writing to the government to ask them to reconsider. Enough delays. Time for action!

3,300 job losses, with another 1000 to be axed. Real terms funding down a third since 2015. The Met at its smallest size per head of population. A functioning police force cannot carry on like this. I am writing to the Minister for Policing and Crime to push for a better deal for our Met Police.
