I know it's like the least important fact about that whole mess, but technically, the Dept of War isn't the old name of the Dept of Defense. The Dept of War became the Dept of the *Army*, which now falls *under* the Dept of Defense They even still use a version of the same seal

One of the things I pushed for *hard* when we were organizing the first LVFC was that we'd find a local union shop to print the badges so we could proudly display that union bug I have no idea how many people appreciated or even noticed that little symbol, but I do love to see it's still there

So my Sam's Club happened to have Elgin sticks of butter (bottom) for some reason and holy crap I didn't realize how different they are to West Coast butter sticks

The original Nevada flag gets a lot of flak for good reason (I mean look at it), but if you just remove the godawful text from it it could actually be a pretty good design. Plus the symbolism's still there: 36th state, gold and silver, N for North

So I've only ever gotten commissions from friends, and part of the reason for that is that my fursona's ref sheet has been a "WIP" since 2018. I'm still not completely satisfied with how it looks, especially the paper doll portion, but at least, according to me, it's done. #furry #fursona

So like, the World Wide Web has (had?) a logo, and while the logo itself is *extremely* 90s, I really love that tagline. "Let's Share What We Know" It sums up the mission of the WWW in such a casual, straight-to-the-point way I love it
