Trump: Everybody in Arkansas, Tom Cotton, a friend of mine, is holding up a very important Bill. It's called, "The Sunshine Protection Act" or,

Don't Want to Change Our Clocks Twice a Year Act." For some reason, Tom is stopping the Bill and, in the Senate, it's very easy to do, it only takes one! It should pass overwhelmingly, in a Bipartisan fashion. So, everyone in Arkansas, a State | love, and won 3 times, the last by by 34 points, tell Tom to, GET IT DONE! It will be appreciated by all. Nobody wants to spend their precious time running all over the place, turning Clocks back twice a year and, having sunshine in the afternoon is better than early in the morning!
The PGA TOUR, as an example, needs more Daylight in the afternoon in order to finish their Tournaments. Likewise, regular Golfers, Tennis Players, Hunters and, perhaps most importantly, Farmers who want more Daylight to play or work.

Trump: Republicans in the Senate have to get moving on what I call the "No More Changing of Clocks Act," officially known as The Sunshine Protection Act, a ridiculous Clock changing process that takes place twice a year, costs our Country a fortune, is bad for Crime, stress on people, Sports, and just about everything else you can imagine. Even the highly respected PGA Commissioner, Brian Rolapp, needs it for the completion of Golf Tournaments in the Winter, when they just plain run out of sunlight. People don't want to go around changing their Clocks anymore and, besides, far and away, most people like having an hour of extra sunlight in the evening, rather than in the morning. The House has passed this Bill, 308-117, on July 14, 2026, with Great Bipartisan support. Both Democrats and Republicans want it to happen. It's now up to the U.S. Senate where it would be another Great Bipartisan Victory. Unfortunately, it's being held up by Senator Tom Cotton, of Arkansas, for reasons unknown. People are sick and tired of having to change their Clocks twice a year. Even most farmers would rather have additional time in the evening to harvest their crops. Trump: The Inspector General's Report just came out on Jerome "Too Late" Powell's "renovation" of the Federal Reserve Headquarters in Washington, D.C. The IG's Report states that there were
"deficiencies in the management of the renovation project." The Building is over budget, at a Record Setting rate and, at a minimum, "Too Late" Powell should be forced to resign from the Board. He can't manage a Building, and he certainly shouldn't be allowed to manage his High Interest Rate Policy (only on "TRUMP!"). I have asked Attorney General Todd Blanche to study the report, and make a determination as to what to do about a relatively small Building Complex that is Hundreds of Millions of Dollars over budget, and is now going to cost, according to the Report, at least 2.5 Billion Dollars, with no end in sight. The Report states, "We were concerned to find that the Board did not obtain a project cost estimate from the [construction manager] until January 2026, which was 3.5 years after construction began and after the Board had awarded more than $2 billion in construction costs. As of July 2026, more than 4 years after construction began and $2 billion has been awarded for construction, the Board had yet to set a [guaranteed maximum price]" - An absolutely unheard of situation! - "The Board

In actuality, I think that the 2.5 Billion Dollars will be 3.5 Billion Dollars, and maybe 4 Billion Dollars by the time they're finished, and may never get properly built.

In particular, the magnificent beauty, sculptured ceilings and walls, and so many other things which made the Federal Reserve Building stand apart, will never be captured again, and are only being replaced by flat, boring, less than midlevel finishes. I could have done a far better Renovation for 25 Million Dollars, completely maintaining the MAGNIFICENCE of the structure, and had money left over. They completely destroyed the Beauty and Glorious History of the Building. This is Jerome Powell's fault, and he should be forced to resign, IMMEDIATELY!
