For real. It causes so many issues but like you're still happy.. it's just you adapt to the situation. I know my life would've been easier if I wasn't queer, but then again, We are not the issue, society is.

So simply saying "I'm therian because I want to be" isn't it. That said, there are many people out there who believe different things and I find that the community is sufficiently supportive of everyone's views!

Perhaps we run in different circles. There has to be some "criteria" for classifying oneself. Being therian isn't something you can just choose to become - whilst spiritual therian might not be the above-all classification, one needs to check some boxes to actually be considered therian.

Exactly. We don't have to ever explain it, if we even can. I am scientifically aligned as well, naturally, but my mind is open for certain things based on experiences I and other have had that find no rational explanations! It's a good mindset!

And being open to those is a part of what being a scientist IS all about. Automatically discarding something because it is so far outside of your own bubble or interpretations is exactly what science has worked so hard to stop. If someone tells me what I believe and experience isn't real? Well..

I am very much a spiritual therian, I believe that my spirit is that of a wolf and it is so hard to find other therians who believe and feel the same. I am also almost a PhD of molecular virology and medical science. Feels contradictory? There are many things in this world we don't understand yet

I'm right there with you. It's been a bit back and forth, but human stressors are so damaging. I'm only now starting to feel a bit more like myself! What helps me is focusing on the things I love, letting go of work and society when I can. Also meditation can work for some, but it's hard!

Is it just me or did people's perfumes/colognes get so much stronger the past few years??

I can't lie, it feels good to feel. Stress has had me suppressed all summer so this is a nice change of pace.
