Woe, curse of becoming a moderately cartoonier mascot version of yourself upon ye

Transfixion pad that gets you stuck as a character as they are depicted (and posed) in whatever card art they appear on (whether it's something like yugioh/MTG or more like pokemon)... The pad itself also displays the card's background around you, so you look more like a proper promotional piece

Evita is one I've heard of but never actually looked at until now, ouh... need to pay more attention to my own national mascots >>; But yeah they're both good anyway, can appreciate a solid mascot regardless!

010

Meddy @medilia.space · 20h

Oh from what I can tell Ember's up in Canada while Smokey's still around in the US o: plus both mascots are good anyway I think, yeahah

Suddenly remembered the fire safety fox mascot....

Bigger = warmer, of course #mediliart

Meddy (cat) wearing a rather oversized version of their sweater dress, saying "It's getting chilly, so it's a good time as any to bust out the warm stuff!". Totally not a conduit for shenanigans

Meddy @medilia.space · 20h

Thanks ^^" thankfully I have options, it's just the hassle from all this to begin with that's bothersome. gotta keep squeaking on regardless!

Meddy @medilia.space · 20h

Fwehhh very no good week all around it feels. Need better vibes to come soon because I feel ready to just give out and melt

160

Meddy @medilia.space · 22h

From what I can find out it's just a recent mass migration of accounts of that particular type to the one I have now, probably because of high transaction rates I'll probably go there and/or cancel this as soon as I can get other stuff set up and make sure it works for me though, yea

110

Meddy @medilia.space · 22h

Bluhh, I guess I should've seen something like this coming given it *was* originally a savings account (nobody here uses it for that mostly, lol) but still, fees suck. I'll probably weather that later this month and then see what I can do from there, just that one annoyance atm anyway, thankfully

120

Meddy @medilia.space · 23h

Fucking hell, my bank suddenly migrated the account I've been using for stuff to one that charges a monthly checking fee so now I have to figure out how to deal with that (or move stuff around)

140

Meddy @medilia.space · 08/10/2026

Oh yeah I'm definitely not thinking about seriously doing any of that ASAP, considering I can't even attend cons to begin with ahah I'm probably getting ahead of myself anyway u.u; need to focus on what I already have going on right now

000

Meddy @medilia.space · 08/10/2026

blahhhh. this is just me rambling about age and being impatient and time/brain sucking and the usual, ignore me. I just keep wishing I could do more than just keep doing the best I can with what I already have

160

Meddy @medilia.space · 08/10/2026

as happy and grateful as I am that folks like and enjoy the art and stuff I've done, I still don't see myself doing bigger stuff (ie con merch, paintings/physical, etc) until I hit like, 40 or something at this pace

In which Chal turns an unsuspecting passerby into a willing test subject for highly experimental gaseous mixtures, and where he also turns a well-sealed contained for said gasses into a very... okay yeah it's just a big goofy suit version of himself. But it's *functional*! #mediliart

[ #rubber/inflatable #suiting ] Chalcedonyx/Chal (the perfectly normal cat on the right) using a canister of some mysterious and very reactive sparkly-blue gas to fill up a rubbery, inflatable mascot suit styled after himself with it for experimentation purposes.
Or just to mess with the purple aqua-haired cat inside that is totally not also getting plenty of it straight into them through that filtration mask (which matches the one on the suit itself, the grin recolored to stand out from Chal's own of course).

Segmented for better view of sorts (thank you, blue sky compression)

[ #rubber #inflatable #suiting , layering, sort of teasing?] x0: Clueless default furry character.
x1: The above character, shoved into a Meddy (cat) suit
x2: The above, into a plushier Ethel (fox) suit
x3: The above, into a rubbery Chal (cat familiar) suit, with extra mask included
x4: The above, into a Shim (chimera) inflatable suit
x5: The above, into a June (canine) mascot suit

x6: The above, into a Bleu (kitsune adjacent creature) squeak suit
x7: The above, into a Scuttle (pony/horse) fursuit of sorts
x8: The above, into an air filled Myri (wolf) suit
x9: The above, into a swell Lia (sort of android critter, made of metallic? latex) suit, with some added compression to stuff "Myri"'s hat in there as well

x10: The above, into a shiny Karo (crow familiar) suit
x11: The above, into a balloony Curio (party animal) suit
x12: The above, into a big inflatable Elle (trifox) suit
Bottom right: Meddy (the actual one) looking at the (so far) finished product, holding a tablet and saying "Give me a little longer, and I'll finish up the next one! Maybe a few more weeks, or months? Wonder if you're even still yourself in there..."
