#MutantFam #MutantMusic There was a post or comment by @JMcNutty23 that mentioned Constance Fry quite a while ago. I thought it would be a great band name, so I've just recorded a "song" under that band name. Enjoy, if that's possible. Link to song: constancefry.bandcamp.com/track/constance-fry

Married 28 years ago today. Despite my wife not being a #horror fan or part of the #MutantFam, it’s been a great 28 years together.

I didn’t post anything yesterday as I was picking up my son from university, but here’s my #LastFourWatched on @letterboxd.social. Also my only four watched so far in October. #MutantFam #HorrorCommunity

Cover art for Evil Laugh, The Fly 1986, The Blob 1988, and Night of the Living Dead 1990.

Based on a suggestion I read from @barelyashley.bsky.social, I purchased #EvilLaugh from @vinsyn.bsky.social having never heard of or seen the movie before. #NowWatching to start my #Caturday.

#MutantFam Not 100% sure how well I'll do with this, but I decided to start a Patreon page. I hope to start getting content on here before the end of the year. Currently, it's just telling you a little about me. Thanks! patreon.com/LivingDadKei...

#MutantFam Currently watching the 1990 remake. Watching the opening scene and had an idea - wouldn’t it have been awesome if Johnnie is such a dick that he staged the entire thing?

#MutantFam A little late this year but just got #Halloween decorations out in the front yard. Have to decide what else I may do.

Skeleton fencing with a cemetery set up on the front yard.

A skeleton fence around a grave marker reading R.I.P. A pumpkin head and skinny hands are emerging from the ground.

A cross grave marker reading R.I.P. A head and hands are emerging from the ground.

A garage door with blue tape marking the doorway to another dimension, as seen in the movie Backrooms.

#MutantFam #Writer My view for the past I don’t know how long as I try to get myself going on the next novella. Listening to the Halloween Kills soundtrack, which is amazing. Also waiting for #GuardsBall tonight.

Laptop open on a desk. MS Word app has some prose, but the laptop is currently untouched.

The Halloween Kills record cover on display, although the plastic and lights are obscuring it. Also in frame is the record on a turntable.

Waffles the Cat and then some random items in the background, like Doctor Joseph Roberts, a Chucky doll, and a signed poster from Babysitting the Demons on Maple Street.

I just saw that #Ghoulies got some love at the Emmys. That’s pretty sweet. I’m sure a lot of people who have never and would never see the film will be doing so now. #MutantFam

#MutantFam #MutantWriter Completed Draft 2 of the #novella today. I think I like the structure and the scenes. The next review will be to determine if anything is too obvious or okay as is, even if obvious.

#MutantFam #MutantComedy Spent a little bit of time in Woodstock, IL today. “It’s Groundhog Day!”

Groundhog statue in Woodstock, IL, commemorating the filming of Groundhog Day in 1992

Plaque commemorating where Bill Murray stepped off the curb and into a puddle. The hole is no longer there.

The movie theater where Phil takes his date and runs into Nancy, his old fiancé.

The bed and breakfast where Phil stayed while in Punxutawney. And, yes, it really is a bed and breakfast.
