Riptide 2026 Thoughts I blab, a lot. Decided to type in my notes app and just screenshot. I'll have alt text for the pictures too. Love y'all <3 Don't be strangers now 🫶🏼

Ok I'm late I know but better late than never! This Riptide was quite a weird but fun one for me. Originally I was coming to just spectate but answered the call from Six Pack Yokes for backup and decided I'd give playing another go because I didn't want to feel left out and always knew if I had to play, it would only be with people I know and trust. Thank you Yokes for taking an old octoling in! While I know results aren't everything and I have always focused on having fun, I can't help but think about what I could do if I genuinely pushed for higher. But at the same time, I simply do not have that time to do the grind needed.

I have mixed feelings about competing. Being a long standing member of the community means I've seen and experienced A LOT over the years. I've never pushed myself far enough to be get past a Low Ink ban. My time in Splat comp has majorly been in low level as a Low Ink Alpha warrior. I've always felt envious of the players I've known from the very beginning of comp Splat who are well past me in skill level now. It has absolutely messed with my mental and has left me in this weird limbo of what to do. BSIB is my forever home, I can't see myself in another team and until we decide to expire, we will always be a group that will come together for events we want to participate in. The inevitable Splat 4 will probably revive us at the start to be active, but we're always going to do things at our pace and just play the damn game! I love my burger boys 🍔🖤

My love for Splatoon will never change. I love this community so much and my life would be drastically different if I never got involved. The friends that have stuck with me and always interact with me at events, thank you. It feels surreal having so many people to talk with and LANs will always be superior in forming real connections. I think my main focus for contributing to the Splat scene will be towards LANs, more specifically Texas LANs in general and continuing to build our community! If I have the means to travel, I'd love to come support other locals as well 💖 I just have a lot I'm working on and not enough time or money 🫪

As I've talked about before, I'm actually a lot more active on Instagram now! I've built a following creating nail polish content. It's been the most creatively fulfilling venture I have done for myself and I only wish I pursued it seriously sooner! I've always expressed that polish is for everyone, and I want nothing more than to bring that joy to as many people as I can. You may even see me use this platform for something in the future with Texas LANs...👀💅🏼 If anyone ever has questions about nail polish, don't hesitate to reach out! Seriously, I am a walking encyclopedia of nail polish knowledge at this point lol (regular lacquer only though, I don't mess with gel polish)

Anyways if you actually read up to this point, thank you! You're doing awesome, and I hope you have a great day 💖

Might be June 30 but Pride is forever. We're not going anywhere🌈 I don't talk much about this but in recent years I've been leaning to being NB. I'm okay with being he/him'd! But I've kinda come to the conclusion that I don't have a strong gender preference. Love y'all 💖 🎨 @chevybarks.bsky.social

A pride art done by the lovely chevybarks on Bluesky! It is my fursona Rav repping the Non binary flag and Gay MLM flags on his cheeks. He's wearing a polyamory pride shirt and a rainbow heart shaped pin 🌈

I heard it's corgi day today 👀 Happy Corgi Day!!! I love corgis so much that I created my sona originally after one, then later evolved into a hybrid sona with my equal love for red pandas 🩷♥️ Here's some of my favorite art I've gotten! 🎨🦋 handles: hypnof0xx snowhund camoink nicholas34

Half body scene by hypnof0xx!

Rav is happily slurping a bowl of ramen noodles with a boba drink and mochi donut also on the table. Background is inspired by an actual ramen place I visit!

A painted full body scene from snowhund!

Rav is standing with one arm on his hips and he is raising his visor up to see off in the distance. He is in front of an ocean surrounded by palm trees in a sunset beach setting.

Stunning full art scene created by camoink!

Rav crossing over into the Splatoon world. He's swinging down his trusty dynamo roller on the map Mincemeat Metalworks. There's an after image of him in the background where he's winding up his swing downward.

Pride art from last year by nicholas34!

Rav is stunning in his rainbow striped outfit holding a polyamory flag that turns into a paint splatter behind him.
