Flagitious [fluh-JISH-us] (adj.) Shamefully or scandalously heinous; infamous, or grossly criminal. Used in a sentence: “The flagitious Mr. Snudge found orphaned children remarkably economical employees, being generally too hungry to complain and too destitute to entertain notions of a pension.”
