Completed my 2nd half marathon (Luton) of the year & 4 mins faster than 2 weeks ago! Going to rest up but get ready for my last half marathon in 2 weeks time 🏅🏃🏽‍♀️

Completed my half marathon which is also my 40th half marathon. I finished the race in under 2 hours, I’m very pleased with the time especially after a bad summer training with injuries etc. Now I’m going to have some well deserved rest 🏃🏽‍♀️🏅

Completed my last training run before next weekend’s half marathon. Did a simple 10k run, my neighbour joined me today & made a rookie mistake going too fast too soon, he became tired halfway into the run guess he won’t be doing that again 😆🏃🏽‍♀️

Completed my long run this morning and it was tough. My legs became stiff especially in the final 2 miles & the humidity didn’t help. Getting much harder to run long distances at my age 🥵💦🏃🏽‍♀️

Did my long run earlier today & it was horrendous. Not only was it hot but my calves started cramping up so had to take it easy for the rest of the run 🥵 thankfully I was able to complete it but in future I will be avoiding runs during heatwaves 🏃🏽‍♀️

Completed my long training run today, ran further than planned as I intended to run 10 miles but did 11 miles, my body felt good so continued running. Training for half marathons is so far ahead of schedule 🏃🏽‍♀️
